Bl4ck, I have an H50 installed.
It is:
- very quiet because I attached it to a large, low noise fan allready present in my case.
- very cool (in terms of thermals), my CPU used to run at 70, now it runs at 40-50.
- very pricy (also due to the fact that we Belgians get ripped of for our hardware, but still, it's expensive)
- a little overkill, because as stated above, with good, solid reasoning behind it, that an H50 still uses a fan, so you will still get some noise.
So: it's very good, but expensive, and you can get the job done for a lot less.
And if you want to waste money, there are several things you can do that are much more funny, like using a £100 note as a table stabiliser for example !
