Retail is generally cheaper then Steam but both those games were cheaper in the sales.
The'yre both Steamworks games anyway too so you'd be stupid to pay full Steam price for them.

The original has more scary levels. I got Mafia 2 and the Hitman collection, which I've never really played much of. Should be good games The first Hitman (Codename 47) I wouldn't bother with. Terribly clunky controls. From Hitman 2 onwards they're well worth your time and money, though sadly Contracts isn't on Steam. |

The only thing that annoyed me about later hitmans, was that the reward for completing a mission at Silent Assasin rating was... more guns.. which you couldn' use.. because you were trying to be a silent assasin.
That said, the Mardi Gras mission is still one of the greatest game levels ever.

Hitman Contracts can't legally be published anymore because they no longer have the rights to a song that one of the levels plays and is named after  They should just change it, don't see why they won't. |
