I wondered where the shoutbox and all went. Is it actually because of mode assigning a non-existant usergroup to me ?

The group existed, I was not aware that permissions for the sidebars were assigned via membergroup, and externally to the group creation process.

ME3 : nice start but the story is a pale shadow of ME2. Also, controls make Shepard jump over / leave cover when he shouldnt. Didn't have trouble with this in ME2.

Endings were just plain rubbish and were rushed to get the game out.

Still, lots to like about the game, engrossing. Just not as good as ME2.

Must agree with John (hello sir!) about jumping over things. Spacebar now does so many things that I'm finding I'm constantly diving around or darting into cover that I don't want to be.

I feel just apathetic towards the ending. Mass Effect 2's final mission was really good, the ending of 1 made you feel good and this is just... bleh. I never really had a problem with the coversystem. I agree spacebar does too much stuff in this game and with roughly 95% of the keyboard not being used at all they could have easily spread out some commands, but I never really used it that much. When big enemies come (like Banshees) I usually kite them around the map, so being mobile is key. Also if you doubletap space really quick Shepard instanly vaults over things, I think they told you that in the introduction. Still, it feels clumsy I agree.

Also after some time I now agree that the endings are shit. I do like where they went storywise alot actually, I just dont think they were executed very well. Some of the scenes that followup on it are very stupid and make no sense. I however got an ending that I kinda expected when I started the game so Im not as angry as some others might be. Its a good game and it got a statisfying ending (theoretically, just not executed well).

I've got a good game you can play.

It has tonnes of weapons, "interesting" dialogue which never really repeats itself (it's like talking to real people!) as well as tonnes of weapons...and hats...and sandviches.

I'll give you a clue: It has vowels and ends in 2.

Too bad its a sniper those things increase your cooldowns too much IMO, the only gun (and only 1) you really need in coop is rather a heavypistol (like the Paladin), the Falcon grenade launcher or a heavy shotgun (for Vanguard). I do however hope to get the Geth Pulse Rifle someday, thats easily the best LMG in Mass Effect. As for sniperrifles (as hindering as they are in coop), I would rather grind for the Javelin or Black Widow

So according to EA there will be a free DLC in summer that extends the ending by more cutscenes and more dialogue (all of which are made to please fan requets btw) to bring more closure to the series.

wow, way to set back the industry by a mile. Bioware in charge of fanservice once again
