That is true for Mass Effect 1, but 2 had a solid shooterelement imo. It comes down to whether you like covermenshoots or not but they amped it up alot in 2.

Bah, what is it with games and trying to make coop now the canon way to experience a SINGLEPLAYER-game. I heard that the new Call of Juarez really sucks when playing on your own, theres exceptions like Gears of War 3 where you do walk around with 3 other people all the time but the AI is really good so you never feel like playing on your own is necessarily harder.

Also coop in an immersive game like this sucks. When I play something like this I usually take my time to explore everything in a room and that would just annoy other people in my game and it would put pressure on me to hurry up. Same reason I didnt bother playing RE5 in coop.

I anally explore every room, you should play with me and the other probers.

Most annoying co-op partner EVER (e.g. waiting for 20 minutes in borderlands while every cabinet is opened, single gun is picked up, scrutinised and compared to every existing weapon)

To be fair, I like exploring too, but not to the extent that I have to visit every single square inch of every room

But, but... what if you failed to check the one drawer that had the BEST GUN EU?!

Then you would live safe in the knowledge that disco had already searched that drawer from 8 different angles, securing the gun for himself before gloating about how good its stats are compared to the last drawer-dwelling gun he found. You would then wait until he found some drawback in the newly acquired weapon, thus giving him reason to search every other drawer in the game on his ever growing quest to find the gun with the highest numbers on it.
