Level-scaling: It is coming back Does that mean monsters level up whenever you do - Oblivion style?

Being attacked by hobos with hugely valuable glass weapons is a vital part of Oblivion. To be fair, the amount of dungeon based gold I pumped into the economy was probably more than enough to destabilise the currency into a weapon free for all.

Concerning level scaling:Since people are asking, wanted to briefly touch on level scaling. All our games have had some amount of randomness/levelling based on player level. Skyrim's is similar to Fallout 3's, not Oblivion's.

Urg, some of those descriptions...glad you guys picked up on the worst ones!
We'll have to see. I saw the very promising Oblivion AI videos before release, they aimed high and missed the first time...although it wasn't too bad once you found something interesting to do.

cooking/farming/mining/woodcutting/blacksmithing
they'll be zombies that come out at night and blocks to build with next. I thought vanilla Oblivion was awful, but with the OOO mod one the best games i've every played. Im still waiting for something similar before I buy the Fallout games.

http://www.gameinformer.com/games/the_elder_scrolls_v_skyrim/b/xbox360/archive/2011/01/17/the-technology-behind-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim.aspxNew Info, I was always a bit of a Elder Scrolls nerd Modded a lot of stuff, OOO was always epic, and I loved the Shivering Isles, but the smaller mods were always what made it. People always say how they want a different experience to the next guy that plays it, mods achieved it perfectly. If anyone wants me to send a list of suggestions, I would be happy to as well.

It's an Elder Scrolls game, who cares about the main storyline?

Yeah, the storyline in the original was pathetically dull and boring, overlong yet seemed short. Don't play it for that, play it for exploration and stuffs.

Some new infoPoints of interest: - 18 skills and only 3 attributes (Health, Magicka and Stamina).
- Character creation only involves choosing what you look like and which of 10 races you are.
- Modding is fully supported, in the form of the Creation Kit.
- There’s a real in-game economy.
- Better VO!
