Just completed the beat hazard achievement, I already had the game. I'd forgotten how seizure inducing it is - it's a pretty hard achievement to do, the game isn't easy on survival.

I found doing it a bit of the foo fighters made it easier Cheesy

The music is more in relation to how your weapons fire than the enemies are - if there's a quiet part of the song your guns are rubbish, but when there's a lot happening your guns are all super-powered. I think the bosses *might* also be linked to the music as well.

Playing it last night for the 2/3 hours or so required to get the treasure hunt achievement reminded me that I did actually quite like it - especially when playing using an Xbox 360 controller and listening to my songs. It's definitely too flashy for my liking - but apparently there are settings that allow you to turn it down a bit.
