Also the book the game is based on is pretty good. Not sure about the writing ingame, but the book is fine.
Go have a look at the opening cutscene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deGjqe817so&feature=player_detailpage#t=91s(very slight spoilers ahead) I really love the jumps in logic they're making: "Our man hasn't talked to us, he might be rogue." (Maybe he's just dead?) Literally half an hour later (during which you learnt nothing story wise) you run to every single criminal organization in the country telling them that you are here to kill a man and need their help finding him. (When did we get certain?) The description you give them? He's american and dangerous! It's the first game where I seriously consider skipping all the cutscenses, and I never do that. I even followed the story of alpha protocol.

www.justcause2mods.com has some stuff that makes this game 10x better, i'd recommend bolo patch and increased grapple length and speed at the very least.

Bolo patch doesn't work any more, unless there's been a recent update. If it does work it is awesome though.

I just had the mission where I was fighting This game is just plain silly @abda: much to convoluted and complicated. you had a plot twist every second mission. But admittately comparing it to just cause ain't fair.

Okay, why did I buy Beat Hazard again? Must have been inside some bundle I guess, since I don't even LIKE R-Type games. (Which is probably due to me sucking at them but hey, who knows. ) No, this sale has extorted enough money from me now as it is, I'm hoping to get the remaining 5 thingies in the next 4 days for my second hat. (e.g. not buying Metro or Just Cause only because of the treasure hunt)

Just Cause 2 peoples : gamepad or keyboard? Playing with keyboard feels a bit off, gamepad feels very off.

I'm using a 360 pad and really don't like it; can't aim, keep pressing the wrong buttons etc. Then again, I wouldn't want to do the QTE's using a keyboard so I think I'll stick with the pad and try and adjust to it.

I played with keyboard and mouse, which I found fine most of the time.

I suck at QTEs and I have no problem with them with a keyboard. The time limit is pretty big. What's more annoying is the unusual keyboard mapping: Handbrake is x, since space ejects you out of vehicles :/

I played keyboard and mouse, been meaning to go abck and try with xbox controller, the aiming will be harder but I always felt the grapple platforming was more important in fights than shooting guys. If you just go for a straight shoot out with 20 guys on normal youll get owned. Yes i played normal not casual. The harder difficulties just mean don't have stupid fights versus 20 guys grapple up buildings and pound them with your dual nade launchers.
