The stuff pubbie nightmares are made of. He'd be laughing off fully charged headshots. With a Pryo around to spy/scout check The only valid counter strategy would be having spys and scouts making kamikaze runs on all the Ammo. Starve the bastard out.

I assume sniper still caps at 450 if weapon damage is maintained, but spy backstab does 6x max health so they're still insta-kill at least.

They said the logic behind it was to test weapon balancing. I assume that by doubling health it will reduce the impact of luck on one-on-one combat, and make it more dependent on damage output over time. This should be able to test whether the rock-paper-scissors class mechanic is still in place or has been broken by updated weapons.

That and ammo count vs. ammo damage, and lowering the power of charged shots...I'd watch this kind of testing from a distance but sounds a bit silly to me, hehe  (thus my question; if a headshot can't instant kill why play a sniper at all?!)

This change slows down the ever slow TF2, the medic is alot harder to kill, which keeps choke points alive etc.
