Just want to say we're doing very well after the cain incident. Plumbing finished within a day! This means we can have at least 2 seperate expeditions tomorrow (I would say 1 NE, 1 SE). We must have that ec!! Let's hope Peons puts back the aqua-splash and people can get the pistols from 6/-1.

Btw, I'm gonna check out Rexus. I think he's wasting items and resources. He has used 3 rations today (while we were constructing the plumbing) and used drugs (while Deadly is the addict in town). Has only returned to town with a chest and a Box Cutter.

hes got a curtain up. I'll break in tommorow, hes not got an alarm so I can look at the items without being seen. If he has anything truely valuable he shouldn't have i'll rob it, manipulate the entry and send the goods to barbrady or someone else. Or someone else can post on the forum with a list of what he has if we want to do things above board. Thats no fun but i'm probably going to avoid robbing again until next town and then go craaaazy.

He's been like that since day one I noticed some funny buisness as soon as he put up the curtain, plus I don't think he talks on the forums. I never said anything before because we need all the people we can get. Banishing evryone who slightly steps out of line is not very productive.

The whole Disco lynching thing made this seem sort of interesting but yeah.. playing myself it actually seems pretty dull. I guess the excitement comes from the social aspect? Or maybe if you pay for hero days? I don't know, not overly impressed with my brief engagement. Can't I like.. do.. something?

I don't know what you were expecting, but it's a real-time browser strategy game. Generally you login maybe once or twice a day for 20 minutes and that's it. If you were expecting more you will be sadly disappointed.

Why I like this over other browser games is the social aspect - 40 players all having to work together to survive for as long as possible in a town. I also like zombies. I also like the idea of resource management - no AI in any game can predict some doofus stealing an important component that's needed to complete a construction.

Hero doesn't really give you that much more. It's mostly stuff *around* playing the actual game (like extra chest slots) or being able to rescue yourself/others (but only once per game).

Nothing wrong with only having to log in for short amount of time. But if it doesn't even matter when you log in, that a bit too little input for me.

That said, the only browser game I enjoyed so far was Neptune's Pride, which suffers from another big problem of browser games: you are only as good as the amount of time you spend in the game.

I'm just getting people used to the idea of browser games so I have some ready recruits for Blight of the Immortals when it's a bit more... ready.

Always a bit gutted we didn't get a WDG Neptune's Pride game going. Anyone fancy it?

I would, but it seems like you get the best bang from spending hours and hours and hours and hours playing it. And I don't really care enough.

Yeah it's pretty much like that. It is a great game, but the game speed is  too slow, which makes you log in several (read "about 100") times during the day to make sure everything is going according to plan (it never does).

The most hardcore browser game I played so far involved having mobile numbers of all players in your galaxy, getting up every hour in the night to make sure there is no attack going on and if there was, calling everyone out of their beds to organize some defense. Because the game was made in such a way that the only time you could actually come through with an attack was, when the people in the attacked galaxy were asleep.
