I like all the Aliens films, 3 is still good, but Resurrection was pretty damn poor.
I'm also a big fan of the first 2 Terminator films (the newest 2 ruined everything) but I wouldn't say their my favourites...
Cohen Brothers can do no wrong IMO, the only film of theirs I haven't seen is Blood Simple because I keep falling asleep 15 minutes in. Fargo or The Big Lebowski COULD be up on my favourites list, but not top billing. I'm starting to get into list teritory now so I'll stop...

For favorite films I'd have to smile and turn in the direction of Pixar. The Increadables and Finding Nemo have to be some of my top favorites. Funnily enough I was discussing this next film with Fade over the weekend. In my teenage years I had a lot of love for this film. It's still up in the loft, along with the VHS player. Yet I haven't seen the film in a good 10+ years. The film... My Science Project. Probably hasn't stood up to the test of time, so I'm a bit loathsome to watch it again. I think I would rather keep it in the idealised section of my mind  Hang on. Just though. Labyrinth. Now there's a film I could quite happily watch right now. Oh, and Muppet's Christmas Carol  |

I did watch Mr. Nobody yesterday; give it a shot if you have a chance, a strange kind of winding film with a questionable end, strangely no UK release really for it considering it was made in 2009 though.
Man, as for favourite films, so many choices...hehe. Not many from recent years however off the top of my head. I mean to go see some more of the fringe stuff though.

Just saw Inception for the first time this evening. I had very high expectations for the movie, which might be the reason why it left me not entirely satisfied. Don't get me wrong, it's a good movie; certainly a 8/10 or even a 9/10, but right after the credits started rolling I had the feeling it was missing a final ingredient or twist to make it perfect. This will require further analysis ...
