people don't remember James Hunt or Niki Lauda to feel the need to watch it.
Sure I remember Lauda! He keeps trying to get me to switch banks and fly on his planes

I got "Indie Game: The Movie" on STEAM today (yep they basically sell the .iso, kinda neat). Its a documentary that follows the guys behind Super Meat Boy, Fez and Braid from their first inspirations and ideas to the day their game gets released and reviewed. It was very informative and interesting, especially the backstory of Fez and why it got delayed for over 4 years including legal and family issues was super interesting and for the most part new stuff that Phil Fish (the guy behind it) never gave out before. Kind of a shame that they already finished the movie before Fez got released in April, so it left on an empty note. The whole documentary is basically a big celebration of independent game developers. Overall I liked it alot, my favourite game-related doc since King of Kong.

For those looking forward to The Hobbit there are a number of production vlogs getting released that are pretty interesting. Link to first one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbEefjEwsUs

My favourite movie this year sofar is "Intouchables". Saw it in theatres a few months ago and rebought it on Bluray a few days ago, a great subtle comedy from France. Apparently its been very succesful in the box office and it deserves that.

http://youtu.be/05rzPnZ6lxwI'll gladly eat some humble pie. Granted it's just a trailer, but this looks very well made. Hopefully it'll have a nice neutral story to it, rather than that one-sided story telling Senna drew up.

I saw the new Star Trek movie and the old one from 2009 in a double feature last week because some friends wanted me to join them. Was never into Star Trek (I know literally nothing) but I had a good time, I liked the older one more though, the new one has awesome moments but got a bit ridiculous and farstretched in the end. Overall though good entertainment, especially visual effects / camera shots were amazing, dem lens flares!

In one way my first reaction was "wat?" when looking at that trailer, but in another way I'm surprised something like it hasn't been made way sooner.

Watched the Sound of My Voice on cable last night. Basically, it's about a couple of journalists who infiltrate a cult led by a woman who claims she is from the future but is she telling the truth?
My recommendation however; don't bother with it
It's one of those psychological sci-fi thrillers that promises much but doesn't really deliver with an ambiguous ending. You could argue pretty persuasively one way or the other without really caring.
I sort of guessed that the ending would be weak, but somehow like with all these films, I kept watching just in case I was wrong and, just this once, that the resolution would blow me away.
