this is a list of some films ilike in no order of preference , i am sam , as good as it gets , ameile , alien , little big man , stutter island , planet of the apes , darkman ,matrix ,layer cake ,apocolypse now ,trading places , gladiator , star wars ( first 3 ), 51 st state ,unforgiven , rambo ( the first one ) , patriot , tim , serenity , pappilion , blade 1 and 2 . to mention a few ( all are worth watching in my opinion )

It's not a remake really, it's an original series of books with a similar concept. It's quite possible the books were insipired by Battle Royale though.

I saw "In Time" today, couple of friends went to see it so I spontaneously joined them, which unfortunately meant that it was in german, which really sucked because I like Cilian Murphys voice and whoever syncs him cant deliver that at all :

Movie itself was pretty bad. The CONCEPT of what the movie was about sounded really promising and kept me hooked all the way through but it failed on so many levels i.e. the massive amount of plotholes, really stupid scenes and dialogues. Both Justin Timberlakes and the rich chicks' character have a really drastic change halfway through the movie which was too ridicolous for me to buy. From there on it turned into a Sci-Fi Bonnie & Clyde and was just dumb, atleast the ending was pretty neat and left things open. Overall, it had premise but was poorly executed. Probably one of the worst movies I saw this year.

Also saw "Immortals" last week, this time atleast in english. Movie sucked, tried so much to be 300 2.0 but had too much unnecessary talking, Mickey Rourke cosplaying as The Dude and just terrible 3d-effects. Im so done with this trend, I dont need stuff flying towards me, give me good action, not "HEY LOOK WERE THROWING STUFF TOWARDS THE CAMERA LOL". Also I dont know if it was the movie or the screen we saw it on but it was too dark and made it really hard to catch any of the shacy cam stuff. Oh, the theater was filled that night, but everyone saw the new Twilight and there were like 10 people in our room, gg.

I just browsed through the Apple trailers again in a long time and here's what I came up with for my to watch list:

The Pirates (Aardman ftw), John Carter (though it looks cheezy I like the visual aesthetics), Brave, The Lorax, The Avengers, The Secret World of Arrietty, This means War, "Tinker,Tailor,Soldier,Spy".

I would've looked at Mirror Mirror but they packed the entire Movie into the trailer, now I don't need to see it anymore.

I watched The Secret World of Arrietty. it was the subtitled japanese version, if you like Studio Ghibli then you will like it. I thought it was awesome

I enjoyed that when it first came out, when I saw it again more recently I just couldn't stand how Americanised it was.

Saw the new Mission Impossible tonight. It was ...alright I guess? It had good action but a very poor predictable story (who was the bad guy??). You can really feel that Brad Bird directed it, there were stupid gags all the time (especially Simon Pegg I really hated in this, hes usually a cool actor but as the nerdy slacky IT guy he got so annoying during this). Bird should stick to doing great Pixar movies, this was the worst M:I out of the 4 (my order: 1, 3, 2, 4)
