Think the reason I like it though is that I tend to get hold of the lot and then watch it all in one go. When I catchup to the latest episode I then change to something new. Then wait until a load more is released before going back. Bleach would have killed me otherwise as it takes about 20 episodes for a fight to finish.
Gotta agree, though I decided on purpose to stay away from Bleach, One Piece and Naruto because neverending stories are never good.
So I finished the first series of GiTS, it was bangin. Probably the best dub in the history of dubs I was really really really really impressed. I thought the philosophical parts were good, fighting and action can be found anywhere but a look at problems we may have to deal with in the future was interesting. Also such a brilliant 'villain' in the first series.
I've also seen the whole of Kuroshitsuji. Very highly recommended. I really enjoyed it, it wasn't just the old boy soldiers thing and the world in which it is set is of course awesome (Victoria England). Despite rampant Engrish and overwhelming homo eroticism it is very good!
Also, Nurarihyon no Mago is another really good series which I have to recommend. Although the first few episodes take a while to get into, once you get past the Shinji-style crying you get a far more interesting protagonist.
Finally, watching Black Lagoon atm. Another really good one, about modern day pirates. Very brutal though, some terrible terrible things happen.
