I'm afraid to say I bought the £30 pack, plus today I spent £4 on a pot of gold paint and a key. But with the key I got a Chieftains hat thing

The prizes are just a random item drop and one extra duel token.

money=seriousness=bad for TF2.
Just look at the account disabling that's going on. This update was a horrible mistake and I'm not going to validate it with my cash.
Valve should have turned to a donationwear based system for TF2, just put a monthly counter up with the money required to keep developers working on it. The community is more than large enough to keep it going like that.

I just bought a cheap pyro hat - I only play one class and have no need for anything other than 1 hat and the moustache (epic) for my favourite gender-bending pyromancer. I already have a degreaser and nothing else for the pyro seems like a worthwhile trade imho (increased bullet vulnerability? fml we only get raped by the bullet classes - speed seems less important and isn't worth the axtinguisher trade off) Everything else I will come across through the random drop system apart from keys, i'll prolly be tempted by a few of those at some point...

I bought the Polypack and 2 keys. Won't be buying anything else as its just a rip-off tbh. If it was any other company I would just straight up boycott, but as its Valve they get the benifit of the doubt.

I'll be buying nothing, pricing is ridiculously high I don't mind dlc but I think there is too much stuff now, paints and hats are fine but when you have played 700hours and don't know what half the weapons are, its lost some of the simplicity that made tf2 attractive at the start.

Paint and nametags won't make my aim better. Using the OP scout gun would make me look like a douche. (yeah yeah, bring it, "but you allready are...") For £3.5 or €4, I would rather have a very tasty Duvel. This would give me more satisfaction than any game trincket.
