How about to give the servers some proper names? Something funny, expressive, philosophical or profound. I would say something that represents WDG, but then the result would be "With Lube" and "Without Lube", so we would have to dig deeper than that  |

A nice idea at first glance - I would be worried though that the whole 'Lube / No Lube' is quite an 'in' joke and only really understood by clan members / regulars.
I get the feeling that it would project an image to infrequent/first time visitors that perhaps we don't want to project and may find that the calibre of people that visit the server might take a hit as a result.

Actually me mentioning "lube" was just an in-joke as well, it was not a suggestion. If you would name a server it should have indeed a bit more style, or meaning. I remember back in the TFC days an American clan 30+ (great guys) called one of their servers "Rest Home" which was a nice nod to the fact that their clan was composed of older players (hence the name). Or a mate from the old PF forum days hosted a server he called the "Sanctuary", since it was supposed to provide an environment of a more sane and mature kind than the usual pub server (obviously that doesn't apply here ). |

Personally I think everyone should have to take a test to evaluate their psychological well-being before entering the server. If they pass, they are denied entry. |
