Where do I begin! Ok, let me see if I can explain:
You buy and register a domain and website. During this set-up process, you are made aware of the penalties that get imposed if you host or link to specific content unwanted by your host. Obviously (and quite rightly) the original subject matter of this thread is covered in detail within the T's & C's of the service.
The irony of the image is not lost on me, but, as always, I would not have the image on the forum. It is not your image that causes the problem, just the other images that could be posted in "retaliation". I've seen it before, post an image that is questionable but not explicitly wrong, then someone beats it with a more risky version. Then, before you know it... you do end up with something questionable and not right.
Putting aside my natural feelings of disgust as a parent, I was strict with the public area of the forum. I had to be because it was my name in the frame if the terms and conditions of services were breached. This wasn't a headache I needed or wanted (as a clan leader at the time) so I opted for strict moderation. This was never a personal vendetta against anyone in or around the clan.
I'm not saying that all you lot would be running off and posting filth without restraint, however, I can't control who signs up to the forum or who reads it. With that in mind, my moderation on this subject was always quite draconian. I stick to my guns.
If anyone can't see my point of view, then feel free to set up a website and invite the public to post there. You'll see some of my point of view eventually, especially when you're responsible for the site content!
Now that I've moved on, I urge you all to consider the impact to the current person who is responsible for this site. You have plenty of free speech here, but there are always limits and this is a TF2 clan website after all. If the site were about debate or discussion on such matters, then fair enough, but we're a fun and friendly gaming community after all.
I hope that explains my position on the subject - I don't judge Tommy and I understand what he says. I just worry about what other (as yet unknown) people might post in relation.

TLDR version: Don't want other people carrying on the joke too far. Subject matter doesn't fit in with the clan ethos or reason for being.
