Good evening,

On special request of Sam, my introduction. My nick on TF2 is Xebeche. I'm 36 y/o, work & live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. TF2 is my first multi-player fps. Since I've recently switched to an ISP (XS4all) with a low ping I discovered playing TF2. It helps me preventing to be blown completely into a trillion pieces before I moved one step.  Wink

I like the friendly atmosphere on WDG. It takes awhile to get used of the conversation, I remember a server where players were discussing the colour of paint while shooting each other into pieces. Funny enough it was not the colour red nor blue. I'm probably still from the generation of people who typecast you as completely mad when you talk to your computer while using earphones. So to prevent hospitalization into a mental institution by my neighbours I tend to type my team messages.

Favourite characters are Soldier, Engineer, Medic or Heavy. My own stupidity and newbie status prevents me to become a sniper or spy. 

When I'm not playing TF2, I visit a lot of movies, make photo's and do hiking trips during the weekends. When you want to know more about me, feel free to visit my blog.

Don't worry about being older than everyone.  There are a few of us in our 30s and I think Nineblade used to work with dinosaurs.  Don't be disheartened by being blown up every few seconds, the standard of play is usually quite high of our server.

You name seems familiar, did you get it from the Iain Banks Culture novels?

Nope, the nick comes from a movie quote "Dead Man" :
"William Blake: What is your name?

It's always a pain in the ass to be original so there are a couple of other Xebeche's around this globe. Luckily enough we don't bite each other.
The good thing is that none has been considered as potential serial killer (yet). An alternative nick is Senso Unico. Not really a clever nick for a teamplayer based game like TF2.
(it's Italian for One Way Direction  Grin ) So I stick to Xebeche here.
