Yes, nothing increases suspense more than an enemy that can be bested by WALKING SLIGHTLY FASTER THAN USUAL.

Somehow I don't feel sad for the protagonist's death if he spent half of the movie escaping the zombies by shoving them slightly and ended up getting eaten because in his shock he forgot to run/zombie loved ones still are after your brains.

Slow zombies ftw, a zombie apocalypse should be fun, and not a terrifying experience involving certain death at almost every step.

The suspense comes from them being an implacable inevitable doom, no matter how far or fast your run they will eventually get you, fighting them just tires you out faster - The terror builds because the victim is given time to understand the futility of their situation. It's like having the walls slowly closing in, a form of torture.

British actors are much better value for money than americans, any time an american with any talent emerges they go into film and demand millions, whereas the good british actors are much more affordable on a tv budget. And a TV salary in the US pays better than a film salary over here.

This also explains why there are tonnes of Brits on US TV shows!

Just watched it. Still well happy, although was a tad a bit annoyed at the amount of filler (anyone who's read the graphic novel (GN) will know what I mean). I realised it wasn't gonna be exactly the same as the GN but there were some points I was just like " :| why is this necessary?"

Having said that, I did like the addition they made to the final scene, and I knew what was gonna happen even though it wasnt exactly the same as in the GN, which made me feel proudly geeky :3

Tbh though, the GN took a while to get going, but it's fucking brilliant, so hopefully this will be the same. Can't wait for more
