OMG I wasn't expecting Kenny.

I'm kinda liking Carver as a potential villain in the series. We don't know too much about him yet though.

I think this is where Bonnie's story (from 400 days) is linked into the main game. If you recall in that Bonnie and her two friends were chased by a gang as well. Perhaps they were trying to escape from Carver as well?

I still don't believe that Carver was able to trace where the group had got to that quickly. There's a lot of forest to cover, surely?

Also, if you did save Nick, anybody else think he's a similar character to Kenny?

Yeah, wasn't expecting Kenny. I instantly hugged him, although I feel bad for not seating with him at diner.

Carver definitely has potential, but so far I have the impression that he's a Governor expy (the majority of his group considers him their savior and blindly follow him, while the rest think he's bad.) We'll see how he'll play out.

Bonnie showing up was also a surprise, but the bigger surprise is that she follows Carver (which was odd for me, considering that at the end of 400 Days you leave her with a group of good people or so it seems). Also, in 400 days, Bonnie gets chased by Shel's group. It's possible that the group the survivors join at the end of 400 Days is Carver's group.

Also, I agree with you about Carver tracking you and Nick being similar to Kenny.

my thoughts on ep4

It was alright, the decisions however don't feel like real ones though. I chose to rob the russian guy, but I found out that if you don't rob him, he is still telling the other russian guys that you robbed him (Why would he do that?!).
Secondly: It seemed like the developers wanted to get rid of Sarah. (Not that I mind, I let her die in the trailer) But if you keep her alive she gets trapped under the balcony in the end and you have to decide to save Jane or her. No-brainer again. I don't know if it was the same with the decisions in the other episodes but it seemed a bit linear to me.
I am also getting reckless, I don't care about the others(except for Kenny), they try to do everything right and live in the past, even Jane was getting weak towards the end.

I Hope ep5 is gonna get really messy in terms of hard choices, so I end up with the same kind of empty feeling like I did with season 1, of course that was due to the writing

I was devastated that they took Lee from us and left us with the whole Clem situation. I really developed fatherly and protective feelings toward her and they totally took that away with the new plot

, not because of the choices either.

No matter what you do, Sarah dies in Ep4. If you tell Jane to help Sarah, she gets knocked out by a loose board with zombies approaching. She comes around with just enough time to save herself but not Sarah. I was bit chaffed by it because your efforts for saving her in the trailer (which I did) were ultimately in vain.

Finished it and really liked it 
Spoiler alert for the whole episode

I brought everyone together at the fire, felt like the group would work out at this moment.
Luke died on the lake, because I chose to shot the walkers instead of going to pull him out. At least I think that he may would have lived. That red haired bitch was blaming me from there on, because she felt for Luke. That pissed me off.
I tried every time to calm Kenny when he had his outbursts and he was starting to get on my nerves too. However I wouldn't have thought that the guys would have sneaked out on the group in the middle of the night without any food, having in mind that the baby was still there. I hoped that there was an option to start shooting them. The lack of violent justice was disappointing. I was screaming for help and got shot.
In the end I shot Kenny and I don't regret it. He really turned into an asshole. Although I think I will make another play through and keep him alive to go rogue with him in the next season. I let the strangers join us too. My soft heart is going to be my end one of those days....
 

Now waiting for Tales of the Borderland or whats it called. Even though I never played borderlands for one minute. Wolf Among Us was good too
