It has recently been bought to mine and Hzza's attention that the film Deathrace 2000 (not the shitty 2008 remake) - easily the best film that ever will be made ever, has not been witnessed by some of the members here. The film, originally purchased for a laugh by Hzza on a loose recommendation from a colleague, turned out the be the best thing we'd ever seen even when we wasn't heavily under the influence of cannabis. The basic premise is David Carradine stars as a gimp who enters a race against Sylvester Stallon and a few others to race across the USA! It's set in the year 2000, years after an economic crash in 1979 after which a Nazi government has taken over and held the trans-continental road race! A race to the finish, or to kill as many pedestrians as possible. Well I found the entirety of it on youtube. WATCH IT NOW. If you don't you are a VERY LARGE BAKED POTATO. Also has tits in it. Wasn't there a fairly recent film called Death Race with Jason Statham in it? I seem to remember watching that.

Death race 2000 is an amazing film. One of the only films with Stallone in it but not as the main character.

I think I actually saw it at the cinema when it was released (I was 7!). It was on a double bill with a Muppet film for some reason. I was dragged out half way Edit: I think my mum had fallen asleep (my sister was 2 at the time and not sleeping) and didn't wake up at the end of the Muppets. I did have nightmares.

I find myself stark naked except for a pair of latex gloves attempting to pull on a pair of red tights on in my parent's spare bedroom.

Started watching it, but then stopped. What kind of a race is it? They aren't even driving on the same road.
