I just caught up with RPS and watched the video. Looks amazing for a free to play game. If they manage to put meaningful PvP in it it would be just the game I'm looking for (some kind of a Planetside sucessor, though I never played Planetside). Registered.

Ok, so nearly a year later, but what the hell  So TB the Cynical Brit is at Games Con. One of the games he took a look at was Firefall. Here's the vid... Gamescom Coverage : Hyper WTF is Firefall? (Part 1) So a free to play MMO FPS that allegedly not going to be "pay to win" environment. The store is ascetics and convenience items apparently. This has got my attention |

Same here. On the premise that it's not costing anything I've signed up. But from a quick look through their forums it would appear that the TB video has generated a lot on interest. So who knows. May get a beta invite. Then again I may have to wait till launch. But if the finished product is anything like the Games Con video it should be a good giggle. |
