you had me all excited for a second 1.5 has working weather so i can fix my ice roof and farm snow. also rain and lightning. also achievements.
but i guess you just mean the 1.4.1 update which removes the april fools chests. I never saw one on the server because a new chunk has to generate. notch should have made them spawn in old chunks but its not like he ever does anything properly

MUOAHAHA! Thunder Storms lower the brightness. That means daytime monsters during storms. This is freakily atmospheric. MUOAHAHA! Pigs that get hit by lightning turn into zombie pigmen  Ok so weather is going to be better than I expected. |

its updated and its goood. powered and detector rails very useful. saplings for the new tree types which is nice. achievements dont work in mp but meh theyre not very interesting or challenging just yet. weather works and is good will upload a few screenshots of the servers first rainstorm later  . I understand why its global though, hes just using the light engine, so currently rain passes through glass whoops. shouldn't take long to fix and is minor but hopefully when the lighting system improves and can do lighting by chunks we can have weather by chunks or clouds. |

oh important note, do not place detector rails next to regular rails. It will crash the server. place the detector first, then the regular rails around it. Hopefully he hotfixes this as portal 2 shouldnt take thaat long to finish.
