I think things will start slow, but once there is some sort of infrastructure, tree farms, a safe communal base at spawn etc people will be able to start big projects in the wilderness again.

i have fortified the spawn shelter and constructed a farm for wheat. someone else set up a reed farm. really need to put up a fence a few squares out from the walls on the other side of the ditch because creepers keep blowing up the wall

fort spawn is nearly impenetrable now it has a moat. could still use some fences and needs cactus for the moat to make grinders
