Well after one evening testing on the server I have to say that headset is awesome compared to my old one. I actually had teh feeling that I was staying on the battleground.. gravelpit, Point B, left exit: I stood in front of the big stone, a spy was disguising behind it and I could hear it and kill him  Maybe that is not new for you guys but I'm pretty happy. Maybe I won't be that bad on the server anymore, yaay One thing I'm not sure if it is normal or something I can turn of: When I don't have any thing running with sound, no music or whatever, there is a noise in the background. It is not very loud but can be very annoying. Well.. Power will "hear at it" and look at it afterwards. |

Is it just a low humming sound? If it is it's probably because the cable for your headphones is too close to a power supply/cable. Or a ropy jack/socket, but my moneys would be on the power supply thing.

Mine has just arrived, working perfectly nice sound quality and mic is good (apparently). Looks sexy aswell and I love the retractable mic.

Yeah, if you're using onboard sound you end up with some noise due to the DACs. Mine used to woosh harder when I scrolled up or down a webpage.
I'd just ignore it, or.. buy a toslink cable and an external DAC.
So just ignore it.
