Plays just like survivor, but better. Feels like L4D2 in the menus and team play but plays very different from an FPS. Good fun though, had a wee jaunt with Burny, Daved and RCT33. Gonna be loads of team fun for a while, but ot so sure about it's longevity. But for FREE, it's worth a go  |

I really like it, since it's open source as well you can bet on people modding in spells (think HoN/DotA) and stuff. It will rock.
So far I think it's (dare I say it) BETTER than l4d! Just way more weapons and generally more interesting. One thing that's sad about it is the characters, compared to l4d they have all the personality of a limp salmon.
Although looking like a Power Ranger R00LZ.

Sorry for the double post, but this is exciting: The console command ‘asw_horde 1′ turns on the director. It’s disabled by default, because it can really screw things up for the players sometimes. Also, there’s a random level generator, and easy tile-based level creation. More info here: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Swarm_TileGenI’m not exaggerating when I say it took me three minutes to generate a whole new level from scratch. |

Reminds me of my trial period... edit - Also, had a quick 5 min solo bash last night and I already like it more then both L4D games; can't wait to give it a bash mulitplayer but won't be able to until Friday . Stupid girlfriend wanting me to be social... |
