Looks like L4D except with aliens for zombies and no distinct player personalities and minus being able to play the aliens.
Might be fun, I'll sure try it.
Looks like MW2 except with people and no distinct player personalities but you can play both sides just like l4D! |

Also They're probably testing the water with this and then they'd throw a proper budget at it with voices, characters etc.

Yeah, even IF they release it on time (have they ever?) don't expect to play it before tuesday. Release date is monday evening and the steam servers will be bonked.

If it was up for pre-load it would've done it by now. TBH, I don't think they did a pre-load as they're not sure just how the servers are going to respond; more specifically how they're going to cope with 25million+ people all downloading at the same time.
I don't anticipate being able to play this until Wednesday just because of the agro in getting it downloaded.

Considering that there is not even 2 million users online now, I am doubtful  Also they haven't released the server files so there will be no servers. |

I'm pretty sure this will be a self hosting only thing, although the source code is getting released so I assume it will be possible for someone to make dedis if they really want. And yeah 2.5 mill is about the max concurrent steam users but more than enough to break the download servers.
