Celeron M based processor, 1.4 Ghz (Pentium 4 class processor, so showing its age now)

Vista 32 bit,

55gb hard drive

2GB ram

3 x USB ports

1 x standard monitor port

1 x LAN port

PS/2 port for older mouse / keyboard

Integrated track-pad

Integrated DVD/CD-RW (no idea of speed, but seems nippy)

*no integrated wireless* but will provide the linksys PC wireless card that I am using with it now:

ATI Mobility Radeon Xpress 200M 128MB graphics - not really suitable for gaming (unless very lightweight or browser based games). Can do Age of Empires 1/2/3 and Age of Mythology for example.

Integrated sound card - Realtek jobby. Bog standard but works just fine.

Very good for online browsing / e-mail / office use

Battery life typically 2 hours, lowering depending upon use.

Perhaps it could be modified to a post count restriction?  John has certainly spammed this forum enough to allow him to sell his body parts?

Don't know how fine you can tune the settings on this board, but a compromise would be a section where only clan members can create threads, but is visible to everybody and everybody can answer.

Inside you could either have a thread created for "guest"-offers (which would make it easy to control any potential spam) or members could "host" offers for others.

Just an idea ...

As for E-Bay, I can't stand it or the attitude of some of the douches that I seem to attract when selling stuff there...

Negative experiences in the past, and I wanted to give anyone here first refusal before I get rid of the kit some other way. I'd be happy if someone here wanted it, but if not I do have other avenues for sale.

As for the sale of items, the original intention (when I was a leader) was to keep the site free of that stuff in case the site was seen as trying to be commercial, or people having issues with a seller and blaming the clan for allowing an advert. Like I said, in my eagerness I didn't think when I posted this latest item.

Clan leaders or admins will of course move / remove this post if they feel it necessary. I don't believe I can delete it.

Its Karma Junta, you attract too many medics on TF2. I on the other hand repel medics but have never had a serious ebay problem.

The rules on this issue are clear, and there is a reason why we have a *private* area of the forums for the sale of items (otherwise it would just be full of 'classified' ad's of people trying to sell themselves as sex slaves - mostly me...but hey...).

As it's Junta though I have decided to allow this thread to remain in the public area of the forums.

Clan members wishing to advertise items for sale should continue to do in the members area of the forums.
