I have read in mags and online at how people are running games at 2500x2****, and I was wondering how it was possible, are there games that can go this high? Also some of them said how the games were hacked to allow them to run higher resolutions. Does anyone know how to do this?

It wouldn't make any difference unless you had a pretty nifty monitor.

From what I can tell the difference between 1250x1*** and 1450x1*** is noticable, so I would assume that the same applies for the mad resolutions I mentioned before.

Yeah but after a certain point you have more pixels on screen than your monitor can display :S

Ahh I see, still I would like to see the limit of my moniter, and see if my new graphics card can handle it.

8xAA batteries can supply almost 12 volts to portable electric devices, but they can be quite expensive so I'd recommend looking for a deal.

Except 8xAA from different brands makes a difference. I'm pretty sure the 8xAA from Ikea isn't very high performance, probably give you worse results than 8xAA from Energizer/Duracell
