I think the resason the last failander didn't work was mainly because it was poorly organised imo. I suppose also taking what is supposed to a silly gameplay set up seriously just doesn't work. I.e. Should be more of a dick around with alltalk on etc abs just have a laugh. If you want a kore serious competitive game then do a highlander or 6v6

How about a faillander again?
because it never seems to work and is less popular? This. Failanders are fun for about 6 seconds until you've realised that all you're doing is running out of spawn and dying stupidly. |

I miss stat-free saturdays, where we encouraged everyone to play as their least played classes with the server stats turned off. We had nightmares like EvilEm playing sniper, and the intriguing consequences of Hex playing spy.
On topic: I'll play so I can shoot Tommy again.

It's a thankless task being captain Tommy You just have to accept that some people will be happy with the date / time and some will not. @Vitalis, whilst I am sorry that you can't make it easily on the 7th, *someone* had to get the ball rolling and Tommy should have our support for doing it Probably better to have started a poll with a few dates on (this is what I tended to do as WDG leader for match sign-ups), then pick one of the more popular dates for the highlander. Still, if we get enough people on 7th then that will be good and there will always be another chance to fight WDG soon afterwards! |
