 As a pyro I welcome these changes, death to puny men!

 Also I thought they already introduced a skill element to Pyro? It was called reflecting. Shame that 90% of people who play as my wonderful class can't pull it off.

 If they want to make it more skillbased imo, what they to do is reduce the airblast ammo cost significant from say 25 to 10. A pyro will get raped by anything that doesn't use projectile weapons like a scout or sniper, i'd love to see some kind of semi counter to this in exchange for say, the flare gun (Which is awhsum if you're accurate: Flame --> AB --> FG them mid air, leave them to burn!)

 Alternatively as an axe-weilding maniac, my main problem is getting them on fire before finishing off with the axe. Some kind of Molotov Jarate based weapon which sets those it hits on fire would be fantastic, and a good sidegrade from the shotgun/FG.

They immensely buffed the airblast recently? (To the point where he can reflect faster than a soldier can shoot.)

The sniper rapes EVERYTHING from distance, that's the entire point of the class. As a matter of fact the pyro has one of the best counter weapons, the flare gun.

One thing I'd like to see is the airblast being less ping-dependent. I really don't see how that would be possible though

AoE ftw, I don't just want this class to be skilless, I want it to be OP as well

I reckon there should be the choice of uber,kritz or summon rock troll which goes berserk and kills everything and can't be deflected by pyros. Failing that, a warp spasm in the mould of Slaine The Berserker which can also salmon leap to the high caps like gravelpit & badlands spire, wielding a big fuck off axe (with crits) in each hand. Yeah!

In TFC the medic could infect enemies with his med-pack. The enemy would slowly lose health, but also would spread the infection when bumping into others (The noobs didn't realize it, but some people also abused it for griefing). Lots of colorful dialogue there ...

Heh, yes, that was the sort of thing i was thinking of, mixed with that medic infection.
Didn't realise original TF had them, guess they were scrapped for griefing reasons.
