England should have played the rest of the game only moving by the method of forward rolls. |

Can't really blame them, our media environment is at fault. The team gets hyped up incessantly and then mercilessly crushed when they don't live up to expectations. And god forbid a player makes a mistake, they get ripped to shreds ... look at what happened to Gareth Southgate. The media in other countries is more genuinely and consistent supportive, if the team fails a match it's more "Keep your heads up guys!" and not "You have disgraced England you useless overpaid shitbags". You can't enjoy playing under that kind of pressure. |
