The new 3D tech is impresive. I saw "Up" in 3d at the cinima. Apparently I can have the same effect at home. http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/GeForce_3D_Vision_Main_uk.htmlhttp://www.ebuyer.com/product/195161However I would need to upgread my monitor to something capable of running at 120mhz. So that will mean a spend out of £155 for an LG monitor that will fun 1080 at 120mhz. And then another £137 for the kit. But is it all worth it?

Probably not tbh.
I'm still yet to see an improvement since going HD.

Doubt it. But to be fair, I haven't tried it.
Something I've never read anything about: How much performance does 3D cost? I mean the graphic card has to push out 2 different images isntead of one...

i'm not sure how must games would do with it atm. I only know batman supports it. Other than that shrug. 3D display is definately coming soon but i'd wait until more games/products make better use of it tbh

This and I'd wait until it's cheaper too.

7 with actual support. BC2 weirdly. The rest are just games it will work with but have not been designed properly for it.

The 3D games that come out surely wont support the REALD 3D technology that they use in iMAX and some other cinemas as it requires polarization that I dont think computer monitors are capable of doing.

I thought that is waht the sun glasses were for?
Happend to find a demo display for 3D TV a couple of days ago. The raw image was like two out of sync pictures. You had an unshakable urge to push the sides of the screen together to get them to line up. I poped on the glasses and thought "This is shit, it's the same picture but now a bit darker". As I took off the glasses I noticed a little power button. So I gave it a press and I could see the the lenses had become brighter. I chose the wrong moment to put them back on. It was an exciting part of the film. So consiquently I expressed my astoundment verbaly and with quite a lot of volume. That and the automatic responce to flintch and duck.
I've given the "analise my PC" thing a go. I'm tempted, but I do have more pressing uses for £300 of my money.

Tried it. It's nice, but really not sure it's that worth that kind of money.

everyone's trying to find the next big thing atm.. Personally, I think it's this mass-o-monitor setup with 3 of the same monitor.. Just need to make it so you don't need displayport or a crazy adaptor that costs as much as a 3rd monitor
