It's mid day. I've been up for about 2 and bit hours. I know I'm not awake. Just tried to make tea in a pint tankard. Found myself staring down at a tea bag at the bottom of a masive tankard and found myself wondering "why can I see through the bottom of the mug?"

Realisation dawned. Now making tea in mug.

Oh boy.

On the upside, tea is great in pints, just use two teabags. Halves the amount of time you spend making tea

I'm debating getting out of bed, slept till noon and spent a couple of hours watching downloaded TV. I've just finished copying my steam install of Civ5 across to my laptop so I can play from bed.
You know you're lazy when even sitting in a chair seems too much like hard work.

Today had one of those moments that just make you smile. Moments where you hope the outcome will come out just as you imagine in the darker parts of your mind.

So I had finished in Sainsburys and I’d made it back to the car. A couple of rows opposite me there was a Fiesta with a couple of kids in it. A brother and his big sister. I’d guess that nether of them were in double figures. The sister was sat in the front passenger seat, and see was having a disapproving strop moment. This was because her little brother was in the driver’s seat. Well not quite. He had one leg and most of his body out of the car window. But his legs were too short to reach the ground. So he’s teetering on the sill. He eventually clambers back in. They have a little scuffle and he tries his “Dukes of Hazard” maneuver again. Lightning fast, his sister gives his arse an almighty shove. BOINK! Out he goes, sprawled on the ground. She laffs her head off. Locks all the doors and closes the window. I left giggling as she taunts him through the window.

So Jens parents decided they were going to come over today. Always a pleasure -.- hopefully they'll be gone before the T-Regs game tonight, but they have an annoying habit of lingering about longer than wanted. We'll have to see, but may need someone to jump in to replace me.

5 year old daughter had a mega 3 hour tantrum last night.  She now has no toys in her bedroom and thinks she is going to "naughty girls school" if she's naughty before Monday.  Really don't know how to handle her when she's tantruming like that.

Our ancient TV has finally died, I paid a whole £35 for it 3 years ago too.  Will be popping into Cash Converters on my day off tomorrow

Edit: Been given a half decent TV by the mum in law, plus I have a job interview in Horley, Sussex for a job selling solar heating in my area.  Don't stand much chance of getting it but how many sales jobs have a decent basic wage and a company car?

Major sad... officially we came 14th out of 21 bands, despite numerous independent critics putting us in the top 6, even as high as 3rd overall.

This is more a 'how was your last couple of weeks' post rather than day.

Well, I got news recently that I failed my second year resits and was basically kicked off my course. So I have spent the last couple of weeks wondering what the fuck I'm going to do, hence my absence from any kind of tf2 I'm not trying to dig for sympathy with this post (its my own stupid fault) just letting you guys know why I haven't been on and why I might not be on for a while. Although you may find in a week or so I'll be back to normal and playing loads, just have to see what happens

Ouch, shame dude. I've been in similar situations. Take solace that if you plan to work in anything computer related they don't give a shit about Degrees - it's all third party specialist qualifications and hands on experience. Which from my experience is actually pretty fair, the content of the Cisco qualification I'm studying for whilst jobseeking is both far more in depth and useful than anything I did during my entire Computer Networks degree.

They are gits though junta no loan for round two, so basically you have to go into work for a few years and come back with cash, although there clearly needs to be invented a computer games scholarship for cheez, fuck the physical sportsmen and their free degrees.
