How come Mr Junta?
The last couple of days have been fairly uninteresting. My new work, that I havn't started with yet have sent me a cheque for £130 to cover the cost of petrol for going down to the second interview which is nice of them. Considering my car is a 1.1l that's a LOT of petrol!!
I got my contract and other stuff for the job through this week as well.
Applied for a graduate loan at Santander and was declined. *sadface* I then went home and applied for one with NatWest instead. (I know applying lots of times reduces your credit score, but I've only applied twice and Santander said they don't give many graduate loans). Need the money to pay for my deposit and first months rent for my house for my job so if I'm declined for this one I'm a bit stuffed!!!
Going to be looking for a house for my job towards the end of the month - got a friend who lives in the area so he's said I can stay at his and he'll come with me to view some places.
On the plus side...I've been doing quite a lot of web developmenty type work. The most recent thing I've done is for
www.findatrade.com to give every business listed on their site their own advert. Got some more to do for them this week.
Went and met a man at Northampton College yesterday about some work for an on-line portfolio for students to upload work, which I found out today I won the job so I'll have that to keep me busy.
Finally...been working on
http://www.f1reports.com/f1/ only done a couple of changes on the live site - but if you check it out in a few weeks or when I start my job I'll have made some pretty drastic changes. If you follow F1 btw you should definitely bookmark it - I did all of the development for that site so it's a bit like my baby
Edit: Also eyeing up PC components. Can't decide if I want to water-cool my pc or spend the money on swapping out my CPU/Mobo to see if it solves my sound/mouse issues.
Oh...also annoyed at Scan for not realising my mouse is faulty and not yet sending me another one. They seem to only reply once a day which means each time they refuse to accept it's faulty I'm without a decent mouse for another day.
