FFS, I leave work half an hour early to pick up a package at the postal office close to my home. I had a window of one hour to get there at time, which is usually no big deal (average travel time ~45 minutes).
So I'm waiting for the tram, which arrives after a few minutes and travels leisurely past the station with the driver explaining via speaker the tram was defective (well, at least he told us instead of just rushing by). Okay, I'll have to wait 10 more minutes. Could easily work out. Tram arrives, me enters, tram moves.
Of course I have to switch trams en route, but that's usually no big deal because the line I'm continuing on is frequented in 5 minutes intervals. So I exit at the station, walk a few meter to the station of the other line, wondering about the commotion down the street which looks suspiciously like a demonstration, only to find out that mentioned demo blocked the line I was supposed to continue

Had to walk a few hundred meters to the station my line was actually starting from in my direction. At that point I was already off schedule, so the fact that the bloody tram didn't appear for another 15 minutes really didn't do any more damage.
Bleh, I say!
