The warehouse manager is out of town so I am running the show till Tuesday maybe Wednesday :s
So I got the team together to tell them the score the if we work hard then we shall be on easy street for the rest of the week and I shall get cookies and junk like that in (bitch's love cookies and milk) so yesterday was good, we got everything done and we are now 2 days ahead of all work that needs to be done ^^ that was awesome.

But today it went from bad to worse
The morning was cool and all until.....the boss came down stairs *dun dun ddduuuuuun*
His foot steps was as heavy as divers shoe things, and his heart was filled with hatred and blood and junk, he was in a bad mood wait...understatement he was in a piss poor mood! Everything that his eye cast over it was wrong or dirty or whatever, he was just being a dick to everyone and everything about all sorts of things and then he dragged me into the meeting room and told me that everything was wrong and exceptionable *we left some cables about and shit like that about and I didn't sign some paper work* keep in mind someone left work sick so I was a man down anyway
So yeah more words were said and my asshole was spread wider than a pint glass then said next time we meet it shall be a written warning WTF! Suck my stump! For the past couple of weeks I have been working 17 hour shifts and I don't even get a thanks! Yeah nice one last time I come in and open office at the weekend for a lorry tip....
Than for the rest of the day he spent his day throwing his weight around saying what is wrong and so on and so forth, told us that he is going to spend tomorrow with us to show us how it is done :/ As I was locking up his GF (who is also my HR person) asked me what was wrong as I was in a piss poor mood and I told her that Gertrude is giving me shit and so on, so that shall be fun to see what is said tonight over the pot noodle in front of the tv.
To top it all of I trapped my finger

I got an update regarding my job interview. Had an interview last friday and the teamleaders who were doing the interview told me that I would get an answer this week. Well, I got an answer of the "thank you for contacting us, the positions have already been filled, we'll archive your resume for future reference" kind.

It's a school dedicated to game development, and the only free one in france. I will retry next year.

I've read that. It seems strange, surely if colleges and universities are linked with games companies then it's a good way in. Like when I was studying engineering, we all had sponsorships on our course.

Haven't posted here for a while for various reasons.  Mainly my 74 year old mum in law is ill, (she who babysits and helps us out a lot) was taken into hospital around a couple of months ago when she collapsed.  She was eventually diagnosed with a (probably slow growing but inoperable) brain tumor and given mega steroids to bring down the swelling on the brain and sent home with strict instructions to continue taking the steroids.  The problem was the steroids interfered with her diabetic medicine and within a week she was unable to walk.  Whilst this was going on my wife and her sister (my father in law hasn't coped well with this) were trying to contact someone who knew what was going on.  No one knew - her details had been forwarded to the Kings Hospital in London and no one would admit to having them.  My wife was actually put through to a consultant in the middle of an operation too.  

After a month she was eventually persuaded to go back into hospital and the hospital staff expressed horror she had been on these steroids for so long which she was only meant to take for a week, shit majorly hit the fan and it was eventually found where the paperwork had been sent.  She was then transferred to Canterbury hospital where she was properly assessed and send home.  A couple of days later she's back in hospital with an infection that is later diagnosed as pneumonia.  My wife and her sister kick up some major fuss, let the hospital know she should have a proper care plan and finally get a date for her to be seen by a specialist at the Kings Hospital.  Now she is recovering very slowly from pneumonia and she has been told it's months before she'll get any form of mobility back.  2 months ago she was working.

Other news, today at work some idiot from crown paints sent us 6 tins of paint by post.  It didn't end well.

I just spent the last few days at a friends house playing Magic all day and watching a variety of films all night. 'twas fun!

Unfortunately his house is surrounded by grass meadow and I have hayfever, so I have a sore throat and will probably sound odd(er than usual) at fragfest later.

That happened to me and some friends once.

We went into the country and ended up with hayfever (we had to buy some medication), sore throats and a couple of cases of sunburn one so severe he had to stay indoors in a darkened room for the half the rest of the time.

Fortunately it was mainly a gaming holiday so that wasn't too bad.
