Well today was no exception as my day was just so rubbish and let me tell you why...

I got promoted to head of rigging, lighting and power today some people may say "Hey that's pretty sweet in charge of all those people and what not"
First off I am the only one in those departments so I am head of myself :/
secondly, the shit hit the fan around 4 seconds after I got the promotion..
Boss: "WHY ARE THESE TWO CHAIN HOISTS IN REPAIR??"
Me: "eeeerrr I don't know"
Boss: "YOU SHOULD KNOW IT'S YOUR DEPARTMENT AFTER ALL"

Oh shit snacks he went there so that kinda pushed me out into shit creak but I will soon find out that I haven't got a paddle......
The boss then started to show my how the PO's work and so on (Pieces of shit) and the system we have is so dumb its untrue!

so then he asked where the rigging test results are I don't flipping know! I have been doing this for 5 minutes! The day pressed on with more people being dumb and just being retarded

so then the day ended when I flipped my shit and nearly broke 3 laptops and a printer so I had to calm my shit but yet keep it together

Also I finished lat 7:30 bad times

I would rate this day a good 7.6 on the poop meter

all i can say is FUCKING STUDENTS!

Normally I don't mind them, sure they dont tip, but they're usually pretty nice. But seemed tonight we had the cheapskate brigade in cos everyone was just looking for a free meal so that meant bogus complaints everywhere. Normally it's a case of the customers always right for the most part, but by the 5th or so attempt of someone trying to get shit for free, I'd had enough. Ended up having a full blown arguement with these two little shits, one was claiming she'd had food poisoning from the prawns that weren't cooked before (a pretty serious allegation I might add), although never made a complaint but said she got refunded the last time she was there a month ago for it when it happened (I later went through all the refunds and comps for the past 4 months, no such thing ever happened). She then said the prawns in her dish (which she'd asked to be added) weren't cooked, even though I'd had the head chef cook the dish, and I know they were fine. She then said she had food poisoning again after 10 minutes of eating and had just gone to the toilet to be sick. For anyone that doesn't know, it takes a MINIMUM of 1 hour (depending on the pathogen) for symptoms to show, but usually alot longer, over 24 hours isn't unusual. Basically, she was talking shit.

Another girl who was with her claimed her food wasn't nice even though I'd come round and asked if the food was and ok and they made no complaint. A server cleared her plate which had scraps on it whilst she was in the toilet since all her friends told the server she was finished. She claimed she wasn't, so offered to make her a half portion, but said she was full but wanted a refund. mind blowing.

Think I gave them £1 for the prawns and gave them a measly 30% off their two dishes. fucking rats

bitch even had the cheek to make a comment as she left that it was one of the other girls birthdays and I didn't make a big deal over her. There was nothing on the table to suggest that it was someones birthday, nor did anyone mention it. besides, I dont give a fuck.

Not all he said it was a "bad cop good cop" kinda thing they had going on
There was Kate (Business Development Director) ((good cop)) and Max (Managing Director) ((Dick))

So anyway they called me up to the chilled meeting room (yeah we have the "rape room" and the chilled room) so I counted my blessing and went in and sat down on the sofa then the grilling started....It was like a shit sandwich they started with the soft white bread by saying
"Don't worry this is not a disciplinary" ok sweet and then for the crunchy treat of the dog poop wich was "It took you 45 minutes to prep a large PA system complete with lectern, projector and screen? It should have taken you 30 minutes tops" and "your too slow, I want you to grow with the company and we are introducing team leaders and I was hoping that you would be one of them but as it stands your cutting it I am really disappointed with you" and then the nice soft bread freshly cut "If there is any problems you can tell us" well looking at it seams like a bit of stale bread but at that point I was willing to take what I can get my hands on.

I explained that it took me "so long" to prep shit is because I had two other jobs to sort out and that I don't take short cuts then Max said I have to cut corners, at this point I was slightly eeerrrmmm annoyed and proclaimed that cutting corners is not cool as that is how mistakes are made and that's not cool and junk. Kate was all cool and agreed with me and in returned just said "speed up then" :/ great so basically work is telling me to suck less at life and not really giving me any pro tips on how to win.

Then other words was said saying that I need to get up to speed so I can be "team leader" wow of what? the monkeys that I have to work with? naaa you can keep that stinky roll thanks

As I went to leave they asked me "You seam pretty down is everything ok?" fffffffffffuuuuuu "eeerrrr yeah just problems at home with moneys and stuff no biggy" (lying through my teeth at this point) got called back in and they said if I work hard I can become team leader and get a small pay rise if I do well :/

Tbh I rather shit in my hands and clap than be team leader

Just a word Doddy, be careful what you type up here re: work. It p.easy to work out where you work and you'd be surprised the kind of things that people can randomly find.
