Just use Smart boards. Best Touch Screen based educational piece of equipment ever. Yeah, there are a few of those around, but the teachers don't use any of the advanced features (recordings and such) - just treat it as a big touch screen and occasionally use the markers. The iPad/Airplay solution is actually cheaper than a smartboard, and a bit more flexible.

I was asked if I wanted any of my gran's furniture when she died. I asked for the picture of Dover castle that used to hang in her living room. Yesterday we found the signature TW Morley who turns out to be quite a well know artist, the picture may be worth a few quid but not enough make selling an option or ownership scary. I've never actually owned a proper antique before. Currently hung our bedroom wall away from kids.

I guess it is a little hipsterish, but the only non hipsterish bike at the moment is probably a BMX or a MB, and I wasn't going to get either of those for pootling about Cambridge's bike paths.

Daily commute BMX would be horrible. On a plus tho you could get some nice air off jumps

Anything thinner than about half an inch and someone can just snap it off with some bolt cutters and you'll never see it again.
If you intend to insure the bike - they'll probably specify the minimum grade of lock you have to have.

Check out Kryptonite locks. They have a bike value as a guide for which lock to buy - which they offer with a 1 year Anti-Theft Protection which you need to register for (i.e. they pay out the value of the bike). I am sure getting them to actually pay out is a pain the the arse but might provide a guide on what to spend on the lock.
