Go alright?
Mostly, I occasionally found myself coming up with dodgy arguments to answer questions I didn't know or had forgotten. Then again, there was one whole paper where that was exactly what you had to do. Congrats Yonder.
Thanks. Farscape is one of those series I've watched somewhat irregularly. What I've seen, I thought was pretty good but I get somewhat lost in the overall plot since I've seen a lot of it out of sequence. Same thing happened with Andromeda. Andromeda peaks In Season 3, the rest is a horrible trainwreck. The final season is like jumping a shark which is also jumping a shark.

Can't think of a better start to the working day. My Bagpuss slippers have arrived, delivered to work (the slippers that you can microwave and that can double as a room scenter and a cold pack and you can wear as slippers too!) They're the second lot as well. The first didn't arrive...I was waiting for over a month before I lost hope and contacted Amazon but they sent out these ones straightaway, no quibbling. They're lovely and soft, quite heavy because they're filled with scented wheat grains but that's good because it means you're more anchored and less likely to topple over and they smell really really strongly of lavender. And of course the fronts look like Bagpuss

I've heard of the microwavable pillows which my sister has - but never slippers. Makes sense, I guess. :p One of my friends got a "talking" pillow for his birthday which basically has a speaker inside it which you can plug an MP3 Player to. The speaker is quite low powered so you can only hear it if you have your head right next to the pillow - e.g. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Soundasleep-266888-Sound-Asleep-Pillow/dp/B000XS42RQ

Got that very pillow. Had to get it to stop my girlfriend moaning about the avalanches album playing while I sleep.

Plantive? Why do you want to listen to a sad voice when you try and get to sleep? O.o

What I'd want would be irrelevant.
I'd think of the pillow just singing quietly to itself. For comfort maybe?

True. I was just saying it seemed a little peculiar, but taste varies from person to person. For the record I seem to have Leftfield, Massive Attack on whilst I'm trying to sleep which tends to be quite loud-ish, anyway. :p I was thinking of buying one myself although I get the feeling because I usually bring my pillow around my head when I'm sleeping, like a "U" or "C" shape, I'm worried I'd feel or break the speaker inside it.

Just got back from my gran's funeral, a 500+ mile round trip (Broadstairs to Taunton to Burgess Hill to Broadstairs) with an overnight stay in an eccentrically decorated hotel, meeting long lost relatives, making peace with my mum and hearing about what my gran did in the war, not just a land girl but an ambulance driver too. Plus more stories about her driving talents (overtaking pulling a caravan)!
Plus she was 96, not 93.
Met my sister's American boyfriend who restores some seriously exotic cars.
Edit: "new" Fiesta totally failed to break down. Now feeling smug.

It's been a hard day.
Left work at 11 to go to London City airport, flew to France on a turbo prop plane. Had a cheeky beer or two. Had a delicious 3 course meal and a 35€ bottle of wine before heading back to my 4* star hotel for a couple of beers before bed. All paid for by work!
Work trips are hard.
P. S. The town I'm staying in is called Brest!
