Picking my new car up was rather overshadowed by ringing my mum and finding out my Gran had just died. She was 93 and up till the last couple of months had been living independently despite being almost completely blind. Apparently she passed away in her sleep this morning.
I remember her telling me a story of when she was around 15 - 16 (1930s, pre WW2 anyway), two of her seven brothers owned a car dealership she "borrowed" a car off the forecourt and took it for a drive. It broke down and she actually managed to fix it and got it back to the garage without anyone being the wiser. She later became a teacher.

Congrats Yonder.  I seem to have gotten back into Farscape, managed to get through the first season this past week watching like an episode or three a night. :x I've forgotten how good the series is, especially when you consider I last watched it in like 2001 so I'd of been like 11/12 :p |

Mostly, I occasionally found myself coming up with dodgy arguments to answer questions I didn't know or had forgotten. Then again, there was one whole paper where that was exactly what you had to do. Congrats Yonder.

Farscape is one of those series I've watched somewhat irregularly. What I've seen, I thought was pretty good but I get somewhat lost in the overall plot since I've seen a lot of it out of sequence.
Same thing happened with Andromeda.
Problem with Farscape is you have to watch it from the beginning to get the overall plot. Sometimes character motives aren't obvious or reminded to the audience from episode to episode. |
