My finals are starting tomorrow, first up English (cakewalk), then german literature on friday (which is gonna suck because any piece of literature since the middleages can appear there) and social studies next week. My 14 years in shool may finally come to a good end, but Im pretty scared of getting a blackout during one of these tests :S

Don't work yourself up too much about it. There's many more a final exam to follow, even though it might seem daunting at the moment. You'll surely do well. Keeping fingers crossed though, just to be safe.

Just had a bit of a nightmate and realised the timed essay portion for my 'Critical International Politics' module starts today, due in for 2 days time (when I thought it began).
So far I am rolling the prospect of "Critically analyse(ing) how theory influences dominant practices in international politics".
As far as vague questions go, this is probably the most vague which in some way is a blessing. In other ways, it leaves the next 48 hours open to an incredible array of long and lengthy arguments.

That is something out of a nightmare!
(the number of times I've been suddenly summoned back to Uni to sit an unexpected Final exam in my dreams)
Good going with it though.
And good to hear today's went ok, Karthus (or Abda)

(Irish history)
Please tell me that was pre-independance Irish history because the post independance stuff is damn boring. At least back in the day there were massive brawls and the like (with swords and such). These days we just get various levels of corruption and poloticians who only care about their own area and don't give two shits about the country as a whole. Anyway, enough ranting. I have the write up for that project of mine due on Monday and I'm still procrastinating!

I have the write up for that project of mine due on Monday and I'm still procrastinating! We had to analyze an extract out of a story that was set during WWII ("Angela's Ashes" if anyone cares), so not really(?) but one of the questions was to summarize Irish history since 1800 in general so I started with the famine and ended on the Troubles "ending" around 20 years ago. I personally think all the stuff about the independence-struggle in the early 20th century was pretty interesting which is why I prepared this the most.
