Lully, pay no attention to them..they're rambling

Well, Dragonmeet on Saturday was good.
Bought a book on 1930s occult London for my Cthulhu campaign and a card game Cthulhu Gloom
http://www.atlas-games.com/product_tables/AG1330.phpI'd played the original, the Cthulhu link made this one irresistable (my love of all things Cthulhoid can only end badly I think). I also bought a D2 dice (two sided dice) from Q-workshop, one of the world's most innovative rpg dice producers (and it's Polish!). This cost £4, expensive but the man on the stall explained they hadn't gone into general production yet; they were selling like hot cakes as you can imagine.
I managed to get into one of the afternoon gaming sessions, Puppetland
http://johntynes.com/revland2000/rl_puppetland_www.htmlThis is a dark and rather macabre game where you play puppets living in, well, Puppetland. I played Dora the shadow puppet.
And then today it was my interview for an Olympic 2012 volunteer.
Not sure how it went. The interview lasted for about 20 mins after we'd been registered and had watched an introductory film with Sebastian Coe (a man I admire almost more than any other). I was asked questions about team work, various time when I'd gone beyond the call of duty, pieces of work I was particularly proud of; that sort of thing. It was all a bit of a blur but I do remember being surprised and a bit taken aback at some of the things I was saying.
Anyhow, we'll see.
If I don't get it, I think I'll get myself some beige trousers anyway. I suspect I'll be able to get hold of a nice pair in Bhs or somewhere like that.
