edit - Also, my car broke down in the carpark at work so Mrs Hzza went out and bought "us" (her) a VW Passat for £2.5k. It's a nice car, but the dappy bitch got the 1.8 Turbo version which means my insurance went up nearly £500 and she also wants to become a named driver which I'm sure will push it even higher.

The 1.8 Turbo Passat is an awesome motor 150mph and 35mpg (not at the same time though), best car I've ever owned, just 2 problems, it's huge and the insurance is an eye watering group 15.

Oh forgot to mention the useless arsehole of an area manager who was off due to "family issues" turned out to be having an affair with one of the SAP trainers (female).  His wife found out.  Rumours are one of the branch managers shopped him.

I'm glad it wasn't just me being wierd thinking it was big, I'm scared to park the fucking thing incase I hit everything infront or behind it. Also yeah, I'm now paying £1300 for insurance :S. Good news about the MPG thing though, I had been meaning to check that out.

Somehow managed to shift my desk lamp over my monitor without realising earlier today, and it's one of those lamps that gets hotter than hell. When I realised and moved it, there's now a melted dip in the top of my monitor. Still works, but just looks weird.

Also work was crazy busy for a Tuesday, took over £3k in sales for the evening with only 4 people (shame the tip percentage was only just over 5% =/)

Been on my own the last few days now at work (holidays + illness in my coworkers). Judging by the rate i'm going through Gaviscon I must be a bit Stressed. Kinda depressed because I want to build a new gaming PC but can't justify it, AMD's new Bulldozer launch was unimpressive. Will probably spend the cash on my file servers instead and reevaluate my gaming comp in another years time (or sooner if I actually start getting paid market rate).

Parents came up tonight and we had a cracking meal and a few pints in the local pub, which was nice. I had Eggs Benedict and a Rare Ribeye Smiley

An odd Thursday.

Woke up from the strangest of dreams. Imagine that you took the Pink Panther and gave him to the people at Pixar. What do you think you would end up with. A CGI Pink Panther hopefully. So the fading memories from this mornings dream was watching first person style, while also being in a trailer that you are watching. The Pink panther drove past in a convertible car with the roof down. His fur moving in the wind. And then following behind was nearly all the cast from the Wacky Races following along in a variety of cars and camper vans. I think Skooby Doo and the Mystery Machine were there as well. All in life like rendered CGI. So not the flat two dimensional cartoons, but with depth and awesome detail. All of these characters swarming past my car, sort of. And then the mind's eye pulls back and it becomes a movie screen and the the cartoon character's cars all begin to do the transformers thing. But after they have all spelled out the name of the movie (Which I couldn't read), the first three character's fell over and into each other. So as the alarm went off, I had a confused smile on my face.

Work continues to be a pain. It's the long stretch again. And it seems that every other rotation I end up with an allocation team that can't touch bottom with a long stick. So my sense of humor is fast evaporating. But at least I've had a good read up on the European time working directive. So this could be a lot of fun. But anyway. Today I got sent to a convince store in Tewkesbury. And there is no nice way to put this, so I'll just come out with it. The manageress there is the scariest woman I have ever seen! Absolutely blood curdling. I could feel my penis retracting into my body cavity in terror. So it's a complete bugger that the part hadn't made it to site. And trying to get the magnetic card reader to work only proved that there was nothing wrong with the USB cable or sockets on the PC. So that meant explaining the situation to scary Mary. That cold penetrating stare. And an uncanny ability to stand just a little too close for comfort. About 2 inches inside your personal space kind of thing. OH Joy! I get to go back tomorrow. That will help distract me from the 2 hour drive to Andover to collect the part for the next job.

On the positive side, enjoying portal 2. The old testing zones are fun. And the tannoy recordings are a great giggle Smiley

Maybe you are prgnant Rippy. I read that pregnant people (mostly women of course...) have really strange dreams and I can confirm that.
1. dream: my former boss and I where somewhere at the arctic ocean to feed the orcas bread. I fell into the ocean and was of course totally scared that the orcas will eat me. But then out of nowhere my hero (yes, Paul) came and saved me. But instead of going inside to get out of the wet clothes and get warm, I went on feeding the orcas...
2. dream: Paul and I had to run away from something ( I don't really know what) and found all the people from "How I met your mother" so we ran together. First we had to swim through a rough ocean than we all climbed into a small hot-air balloon and landed on a pretty island. And all the time we asked Barney, why his suit was not wet, crinkled, shredded... and he just smiled and adjusted his tie.
Maybe I shouldn't watch "How I met your mother" that often..

Not as crazy as Rippys dream but I wonder where these come from.

Next topic.
Yesterday I went to a Tupperware party. We had a lot of fun and spent a lot of money we don't have. But finally I can make this russian tasty food.. I don't know how to write them but they look a bit like tortellini. And "Spätzle". And I got a gift Cheesy
