Day from hell, was in on my own today, so of course email goes down at about 9am, followed by the entire net connection for most of the day.

Sounds like the best day ever to me, if the net goes down in our office none of us can do anything thanks to the Citrix migration last year.

Had an accident at work today, a white paint tin fell on my head as I was getting it off a high shelf from a wobbly stool and then burst on the floor.  My colleagues were very supportive and were only creased up with laughter for a few minuites before asking if I was ok.  To be fair to them though, they did clear it up.

I have 3 things to be thankfull for, 1, it was only a 1 litre tin and 2, it didn't burst on my head 3, it was sadolin so it was water based.

I have a new nickname at work.  Hard Hat Trev.

The woman I'm working with has been signed off sick indefinatly for "work related stress" so I've inherited her workload. I also go on paternity leave in 2 weeks, so if she isn't back then it will mean that there isn't anyone in the office that can do the work we do. Secretly, I'm looking forward to the inevitable shitstorm when the office colapses because neither of us are there. Might be fuel to get me a payrise.

edit - Also, my car broke down in the carpark at work so Mrs Hzza went out and bought "us" (her) a VW Passat for £2.5k. It's a nice car, but the dappy bitch got the 1.8 Turbo version which means my insurance went up nearly £500 and she also wants to become a named driver which I'm sure will push it even higher.
