For a Saturday, it's been quite nice it places. I started off in Hereford work wise. And due to a logistical shoppintg cock up on my part, I'd missed breakfast. Thankfully there was a handy stall that sold me a very nice sausage & bacon bagget. So a late (ish) brecky was had in the centre of Hereford, staring at a load of different stock cars (one or two minis - YAY!) and some really nice music playing. The music turned out to be a fella with dread locks who was very handy with a guitar, keyboard and sax. it was a shame to have to go in to the customer's site. You know how music can just catch you on a good day? The sun was out, the day was getting warm. The food was just what I wanted and the music fitted the mood perfictly. So after I was done with the site, I went with my instincts. I popped into WHS to break a tenner and then went and spent £4 on one of the musician's CDs. As a result, my drive to the far side of Carmarthen was soothed by some plesant new sounds. I'll put a link to the fella's myspace in the music thread. So that's work done for this week. Got a whole day off. YAY! so at some point I'll have to go and see if the PSU I orderd off eBay was the right thing I needed for an Aunt's Dell GX260. All god fun

Had an good relaxed day workwise today, preparing for two new printers to replace our ancient dot matrix printers and the odd inkjet printer. Had a look on the internet for the sizes thinking they'd be slightly larger versions of a normal inkjet printer, they are not, they are these http://www.canon-europe.com/for_work/products/office_print_copy_solutions/office_colour_printers/irc3080i/index.aspx behemoths. They have necessitated a huge amount of relocation of stock which turned into a badly needed clear of up the counter area. The new computer system that require these new printers has been put back a couple of weeks at least, despite B&Q using the same system for years. It means I will probably miss my training due to paternity leave and will be sent to Birmingham or Blackpool to learn how to use a Windows based computer system for a week. Talking of Windows based computer systems I had to ring tech support to sort out a minor problem with one of the counter PCs and the guy doing the remote thing forgot to log it off the admin account. Result! I can now install any program I want. The internet is still censored though

Spent all day following the Libya and Syrian situations on various news streams and twitter. I think I'm addicted.
