YAY! Friday! YAY! Weekend off! Not pay day yet. BOOO! All in all today has been fairly good I'd have to say. Work has been a nice straight foward affair of replace a data cable at one site. And be giffted with the majic touch at another. The afternoon has been filled with vetting calls for other areas as my area has quietend down alot. My borther is putting the finishing touches on his new home. I've got a couple of things to do to it. Cut holes, fit locks, build shelfing. But that's all in the garage. The living space is finished. All he's got to do is get packed and get moved in.

Yay! Payday! Boo! Nearly spent it all already, that's it till March 25th Been having problems with the home phone and internet, the very nice tech support guy from Sky suggested swapping filters over. Hey Presto, working phone and broadband and me feeling a bit of a fool. Really looking forward to the frag fest tonight and there is a massive, slow (and no doubt pointless) TF2 download so no TF2 for me tonight Going to miss my work monthly target of £13000 unless I take £1000 tomorrow, not impossible, but it's a pain not to hit my target the first month that the powers that be are taking notice of such things. If anyone wants a really good deal on a kitchen, can pay for it and pick it up from Canterbury tomorrow...... On a happier note my "new" Fiesta is brilliant, a 1.25 engine shouldn't move a car that fast or corner that well. Nice (standard Ford) stereo too.

Today I learnt manny thing. I learnt you can't put an imperial threded nut on a metric bolt. I also learnt that some drill bits are just too big to fit into some chucks. But above all I learnt that head wounds hurt like blazes and bleed like gizers.
The moral of the stroy?
Don't lean forward to put a euro barrel lock on the parcel shelf of your brothers car to answer the phone in your pocket, because you will inadvertantly head-but the sticky out bit of the boot lid and firewords will go off in you skull.
Pain killers are my friends.

Bummer /hugs Today has not started well. There is a lot of "GRRR" in my mind at the moment. I was having a fantastic dream. It was getting to a really good bit (I won't go into details because it's a bit sausy). And then I was awoken by the sensation of full bladder. Not to be denied the touch of a woman (even though imaginary) I desparatly saught a comfatable position in bed in an attempt to stay in the land of Mropheus. Sucess. But as is the way, once a dream is broken, it never returns. Back in the land of nod it was now time for roaming a building site on some genericly samie psudo Gerorgen styled hell. I be miffed So I'm having a mug of tea and digging out my notes on how to do the Who Dares Grinns Annual Rodgers.

Camera manufacturers charge exorbitant amounts for lens hoods. EDIT: As an example.

I will never every buy an english car again Land Rovers are meant to look battered and be unreliable. If a missing bit of trim is all you are worrying about you've got a good one. The Freelander has an awful reputation for reliability

I heard about it but I can not agree with it. I really like this car. It's great on snow and slippery roads. Mileage is over 70 thousand kilometers and still no any malfunction... except this expensive piece of plastic
