My data analyst has written a specification that doesn't match the system. Sort of like a car manual for a Boeing 747. A new trainee co-worker seems incontinent (and borderline incompetent too) - he made a run for the loo in the middle of a meeting. Woe is me, that I attract such people in the professional world.

Also my WOW happy friend sent me a text at 7:20am. She's chuffed to bits with the new expansion. She went for the digitial download. I'm still waiting for the postman. I'm also acutly aware that the weather hasn't been that great. Humm. So what fun do I have to look forward to today? Well it's all kinds of good in fact. My first job is less than 4 miles away in the centre of Gloucester. So I'm still some what confussed as to why some one thought sending the part to the Bristol depot insted on my local dept was a good idear. For seconds, I've got a call for a generic back office PC monitor that keeps going blank. Yesterday I requested that the call be passed back to the helpdesk for them to dial in a check that there wasn't a screen saver or a power managment thing set. There is no update on the call. Just a generic monitor has been ordered. This is gonna be a fun day me thinks

Saw one of my friends in Tesco last night buying 6 litres of Kick, some pro plus and some sausage rolls so that he can stay up for the next 48 hours playing Catacylsm. He even booked it off work.

I'm glad to be free of that shit, Was in a top raiding guild at one point (23'rd world kill on Al'ar), man was it a timesink. Had some great moments but lots of tedious shit between them. After a while it becomes a job, a job you start to resent and hate stealing all your time.
That said, I've started playing EVE now, which is the most timesinky game ever. I spent two hours last night just travelling around space.

WoW isn't so bad. I wouldn't have a PC at all if it wasn't for the World of Warcraft. You just gotta be really careful of how much you play, back when I was 14 I was hitting 16 hours a day sometimes. Got bored of it eventually though.

WoW ain't even good. I played a trial day, challenged a level 80 to a duel or something and he beat me?! How fucking lame is that. Needless to say I showed the game my back after that.

Never played wow. But paying a monthly fee to play a game just doesn't go down for a mainland bastard like me.
(applause to Lister btw)
