Well I thought I was going to be disappointed this weekend after overclockers.co.uk let me down. They advertised on their website that if you ordered before 4pm on Friday you'd get upgraded to Saturday delivery for delivery today. Unfortunately that wasn't the case as their courier didn't handle the packages.

Having spoken to them a couple of times (rearranging delivery for before 10am on Wednesday first time), I'm now going to drive to their store so I can pick up the bits in person (they've given me a refund of the delivery charges and £20 off my order!). I'm very worried I'm accidentally going to spend a whole heap more money!

I spend a lot of time on their website so going to their shop is bound to be dangerous!

My new system's arriving on tuesday, actually cannot fucking wait :>

Saw these guys were playing the final date of their own headline tour in Brighton so decided to go see them. Can genuinely say I've never had a better time at a gig, not only was the music awesome, never laughed so hard at a gig.

Today I had some guy to come and see me at work and proceeded to talk to me about lamps :/

I had to work Sunday for 8 hours and then did a 17 hour shift yesterday, finished at 1am and had to be back into work for 8am bad times

After 2 months of gettting nothing, finally landed my first IT Support interview for this Monday. If I don't get it, I will soil myself

So went ok, coulda been worse, coulda been better. Forgot how long it's been since I've been to an interview, so think I made a few slip ups, as well as had a couple brain fart moments where I completely forgot the answer to questions that I knew. plus forgot how long they are, at wagas we tended to knock them out in like 5 minutes, this one was 45 minutes D:

Oh well, should find out in the next few days, not holding my breath though

Sometimes the interviews that seem to go bad are the best ones.i was up all night spewing. Went to work for an hour and continued to. There is nothing to come up now tho, my body just feels like it has to go through the motions in case I forgot I was ill. I have actually got little burst blood vessels around my eyes from straining so much .FML (today anyway)

If your interview lasted 45 mins at least they were taking you seriously.  I've never had or conducted a job interview that lasted longer than 10 mins.

CVs however give hours of fun.  The more appalling the better.

Our interviews tend to last around an hour and a half including the scenario/case study or presentation. It's quite hard to make them finish quickly unless the candidate gives short answers. However, we definately try and speed up the process if they are a no hoper.

Whatever, remember as a candidate you never quite know what a panel is looking for. There may be an internal candidate which means however good you are, you don't really stand a chance. They may have a clear idea of who they want to compliment the team. All you can really do is the best you can on the day and at worse regard it as practice. And these days just getting shortlisted is an accomplishment.

Yeah I agree with Berath there,
When I get dragged into interviews to help pick out people the questions I tend to ask are pretty intense and pretty silly just to rock the boat i.e
Would you use lead free solder even if we was medical exempt? and why would you?
If you fucked up how many pints would it take for him to waver the PO to make it all go away? or would you rather fight a 100 duck sized horse's or one horse sized duck?
Not sure where I am going on this one but be yourself and be cool ^^ I would wish you luck but you don't need it
