Went up a hill today to jump off stuff with snowboard. Found a picnic bench in prime location, built a little kicker in front of it then proceeded to jump onto it and shit, all was well. Seems it was a little ambitious to try clear it but thought fuck it , clipped the tail of board and ate shit. Never felt so winded in my life

In other business, just found out I've been a victim of some dodgy cashcard business.

On Sunday on the way to the Farmer's Market I needed some money so, as you do, went to the local Lloyds atm and put in my card. As I put in my number a man came along and started to make a fuss and waving his arms around. I didn't know what he was talking about, but being aware of ATM distraction techniques, I pushed him away. For a similar reason Mr Berath went and stood behind him.

Then the machine seemed to have eaten my card...no money came out, no card came out. The man said that that was what he was trying to tell me, the same had just happened to him.

At the same time, a man standing at the machine next to him said that the machine had just eaten his card too. He said that they opened the machine up on Monday morning and I could get it back then.

Well I wasn't going to be bothered to wait until Monday, plus I reckoned it's always safest to cancel any card if any funny business at all is involved, so as soon as I got home I rang up and cancelled it.

However it seemed that that was still long enough for about them to have taken out about £800 (with excellent timing, it was just after payday). They'd started with taking £10 out of an atm, probably to check, then £240 and then had gone on a bit of a shopping spree.

I've phoned fraud, hopefully they'll refund the money I've lost.

Yeah, probably manipulated the reader slot in some way, then got the card out as soon as you left and had a peak at your PIN earlier. Unlucky, but should be easily provable and subject to refund. Do the ATMs have cameras in UK? They probably manipulated those too, but...
