It's getting a bit odd at work these days.
We've just finished a restructure of senior management and a lot will be leaving in the next couple of weeks, some have already gone. Earlier this month my line manager was on leave, his line manager had left the week before, her line manager had gone the previous month and there was no-one named for me to report to in the new manager structure so effectively I was head of the whole of Care & Support. Good times!
Anyhow, it all means that our senior managers are now starting to get a bit demob happy; they'll be gone in a fortnight, don't care anymore.
My line manager spent half my 1:1 yesterday fantasising about 25 year olds (male) and eating the ritz crackers on my desk and disclosing various stuff that should only be known at senior management level. It was actually quite funny.
I remember after i43 I was tired at work because I hadn't taken that Tuesday off. I mentioned it to my previous line manager, who was about to leave after the last restructure, we were at a morning meeting.
'Go home after the meeting', she cried, 'On-line gaming, what fun.' I didn't go home..it was only 11.30am.
So yes, it's going to be like that...they won't care what we do, they'll be encouraging us to be a 'bit bad', they'll be saying what they think of everything and everyone.

In other news I didn't get the stage/set building job. They had a few people apply with more experience. On the plus side the company I work for have managed to secure a few more extentions and the like. Should be busy for a few months
